New Delhi, May 9, 2025: Servotech Sports, a subsidiary of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd. (NSE: SERVOTECH), announced the launch of the Dream League of India (DLI), India’s premier Tennis Cricket Ball League poised to professionalize and commercialize the extensive yet largely unorganized tennis cricket across India. The league will cater to both junior (13-18) and senior (18+) players through a structured franchise-based model, featuring six franchises in each category.

Servotech Sports, a subsidiary of Servotech Renewable Power Systems Ltd., announced its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), Dream League of India (T10) Pvt. Ltd., to spearhead this initiative.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been appointed as the League Commissioner, bringing significant media influence and brand visibility to the DLI. Joining him as one of the six celebrity franchise faces is acclaimed music icon Salim Merchant, further enhancing the league's market appeal and potential for broader audience engagement.

Rishabh Bhatia, Director, Servotech Sports, commented on the launch, "The Dream League of India represents Servotech Sports' strategic entry into a significant and underserved segment of the Indian sports market. By bringing structure and a professional framework to tennis cricket, we aim to unlock its commercial potential and create a valuable ecosystem for players, franchises, and other stakeholders. Our focus on grassroots development and a competitive league structure positions the DLI for sustainable growth and impact."

The core objective of the Dream League of India is to identify and nurture high-potential grassroots talent within the tennis cricket community. Top-performing players will gain exposure to national and potentially international opportunities through affiliations with the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF) and the Tennis Cricket Association of India (TCAI). This focus on talent development represents a strategic investment by Servotech Sports in a high-growth segment of the sports market.

The DLI will implement a robust talent identification process, conducting nationwide open trials overseen by over 1,500 certified coaches. An initial screening will lead to the shortlisting of 860 junior and 860 senior players for a competitive DLI auction. This auction mechanism will establish a market-based valuation for player talent and drive competitive team formation.

To ensure comprehensive player engagement, the DLI features a unique pathway for unsold players through an Inter-Zonal Tournament and an All-Zonal Championship. The winner of this championship will then compete against the Season 1 Franchise Champion in the Season 2 opener, creating a compelling narrative for continued audience and sponsor interest.
